Things That Make You Feel Old

I work in a therapy department of 4. Caseload is kind of low and it seems we spend more time working on one another's various maladies than with patients. My shoulder, SLP's foot, Social worker's back, PT's scar massage from elbow surgery...

We total over 100 years experience between the 4 of us. We're veterans :hihi:

Ha yea, I was surprised myself when I googled to confirm. All the grunge era guys are pushing 60 now but there's something about when your favorite artists start hitting that social security age it hits much harder I think

Not a music artist, but seeing Tony Hawk pitching some old person joint supplement on TV was legitimately horrifying for me.

He was young, cool, edgy and rebellious

Now, he hosts a knitting podcast

Yea I mean we literally come out with one new combat plane per decade at this point, and the ones we use the most are still from the 70's.
80's- F-117 stealth fighter
90's- B-2 stealth bomber
00's- F-22 fighter
10's- F-35 JSF
Am I missing any? I mean I wouldn't trust anything new from Boeing at this point anyway.

You are missing the navy's F18 and the A-10 (it is in the process of being retired but there still some left in the reserves.

The F117 was retired in 2008. Also it was not a fighter. It was a ground attack bomber. (The AF called it a fighter because it was a single seat aircraft)

I meant those are the only ones that were introduced since the 70's

I'll hit 50 in a few months and the least year or two for me have been eye-openers. Try to do the things you used to do and think you should be able to do....and your body fights you tooth and nail. I mean I'm not in the worlds best shape or anything but still. That wall is real.
My eye opener was when I went to the Dr for a stuffy nose. The look of concern when she listened to my lungs as she asked my age rattled me. IDK why everyone complains so much about aches tho. I count myself lucky.

I was already too old for this at the time

what does this say? I have OMG, LOL and TTYL the others are a mystery

KWL - cool g2g - good to go

If you think about it, that got us to adapt acronyms and created emojis that are so common now. Pioneers we were.
