No, we don't want 2 coachesI think we keep Rizzi as STC, and give him the Assistant HC moniker as well.

Wild to think he was supposed to be an all world LB in the NFL and it just never materialized. It's really hard for me to get down to the position levels, but for DC I would give a very thorough look at Aaron Curry. He did awesome in Seattle and he has turned Pittsburgh's position of weakness into their defensive strength.
A defensive named Hurtt, sign me upClint Hurtt might be a DC name as well, former Seahawks DC currently Eagles D Line/Senior Defensive Assistant.
Does Stoutland turn down an oc opportunity?Stoutland is not going anywhere. A lot depends on if Moore wants to run primarily wide zone or not , if so keeping Benton and Dennison would be the way to go, but I'm guessing Kubiak may try and take them to Sea. If they go then maybe it's time for Pagnetti to get a promotion to OL coach from Ast OL coach under Stoutland
I read a few reports that Nielsen was a real butthead and players did not respond to him as DC .Looks like Wilks will be the Jets DC. I'd be fine with Ryan Nielsen, as I feel he got a raw deal in the DA debacle with "co-defensive coordinator" shenanigans. And honestly, I respect the guy for leaving that situation and seeking higher opportunity. He's got no "former HC" skins on the wall, but I'd be fine with Rizzi being retained as ST coordinator. Because Rizzi comes from ST, I don't see a locker-room rift/power struggle as an issue; especially if Moore wanted to name Rizzi Assistant HC.
Good thing is we have our pick of anyone we want now2025 NFL Offensive/Defensive Coordinator Search Tracker
Here is PFR's annual look at how the offensive and defensive coordinator searches are taking shapewww.profootballrumors.com
I'd bet big $$$ that OC will be Doug Nussmier, he's gone everywhere Moore has beenHC: Kellen Moore
DC: Brandon Staley
OC: Tanner Engstrand (if he doesn't go to the Jets) if so, then Kevin Patullo
ST: Darren Rizzi, if not then Andy Hill or Phil Galiano
Stoutland loves what he's doing, He's been in Philly for love a decade. If we wanted an OC job he would have taken one long agoDoes Stoutland turn down an oc opportunity?
Only trepidation I have with Staley is he's mild mannered like Moore . KM may need an enforcerThe more I read about Staley and his use of multiple fronts the more I like him as our DC!
Multiple and Aggressive: How Brandon Staley will fit the Los Angeles Chargers' personnel into his scheme
Some of the issues in defensive production will be helped by Brandon Staley’s approach to defense and better injury luck in 2021: expect less one-on-one coverage in the seams and better numbers against the run.www.pff.com

The saying may be true, those who can’t to, teach.
He already was Assistant HC and STC. It'll be tough for him to go back to that after being interim, he could, and I'd hope for it as our ST's unit was the best thing we've had the last few years but there's no reason for him to stay after being spurned as a potential HC twice.I think we keep Rizzi as STC, and give him the Assistant HC moniker as well.

And we can get away from these lumbering 6-5 270 lb DE and get more speed and athleticism on the wge with some 6'3 250 lb edge rushers.Thanks. I thought Staley was a 4-3 guy. He's much more interesting to me if he's a base odd front guy that mixes in 4 DL at times. To me that is the perfect mix and keeps teams off balance. It also allows you to attack specific weaknesses an offense may have.
