I realized that throwing near LBs are not as easy. The best way to pass so far is to throw away from the coverage.

I finally started to get the hang of it. I started playing the franchise mode and found myself at 2-3. After I got used to throwing a little and got a running game I'm sitting at 10-3 now and tied with Atalanta in NFC south. Lol

I've had several 200 yard games with Peterson on the ground. He's been my key to success.

They screwed Kamara with the speed rating. Are you using the Saints default playbook? My running game hasn't been as successful just yet.

I've had success with kamar in the passing game.

I'm using default play book. This isn't my pic but found saints playbook online. I'm on PS4, this looks like Xbox. Run the play at bottom. Big gains.

I tried the story mode too. Story is entertaining enough but do you ever actually play?? I was in probably an hour and a half and got tired of waiting.

Also I didn't think sbout this til now but we may be playing on different settings. I play on simulation and I think it's all pro. The setting just before all madden.

I am not sure if I am on all Madden but I am using the setting after simulation. I will try that play though. Hopefully when the season starts, they will upgrade TLL catch stats because he drops everything lol.

I haven't tried the story mode yet.

I've had success with kamar in the passing game.

I'm using default play book. This isn't my pic but found saints playbook online. I'm on PS4, this looks like Xbox. Run the play at bottom. Big gains.

After a few of those runs, the spacing play in the picture is money to Thomas!

Yep also the plays that have Ginn and Thomas on slants. I just watch the lbs and pick which one gets it lol.

My biggest gripe is switching players while on defense. Once the play has begun and the QB throws the ball I'd like to switch to the defender that is actually closest to the ball. This is often the defender (LB or DB) that is barely trailing the receiver. My problem is the QB will throw a short or medium pass and when I switch it goes to the SS or FS that is too far away to make any difference on the play except for running down the receiver after they've gained 5-10 yards. It's so frustrating. If it would actually switch to the closest defender I wouldn't give up any points.

If you hold the d pad a certain direction when you switch players it won't move it to the player closest to the ball. I haven't had the problem you're talking about.

I hope my experience in the game turns out to be similar to real life. I lost to the Vikings then beat the Pats and am now 7-1 on the season.

It appears as if they screwed us. Our ratings dropped by 1 point and Edmunds trucking ability is now gone and they lowered Fleener's catching rate as well. However they did update Lattimore and Kamara is more useful, but they dropped some of the Linebackers ratings and we do not have much speed in that area.

OK I'm in my 3rd year of Franchise mode. Won the Superbowl 2 years straight. #1 overall defense in the league 2 years in a row. Top 5 offense 2 years in a row. Constantly upgrading my players via exp but my overall grade for my team is only 86. What gives?

It takes a while to increase the overall grade for the team. It moves very slowly, even if you're increasing the player ratings all the time.
