Throwback - Saints vs Dolphins 2009 (1 Viewer)

That's an absolutely reasonable take. I guess I have more fond memories of the 2009 Miami comeback because of the way that season ended.
No doubt, so many fondly remembered epic moments from that season, and it all seems like just yesterday, the but whooping on Det to start the season, the Meacham play against the Skins, discovering the Unknown Who Dat, so many moments where the call went our way or the ball bounced our way and we thought, in the past that would've happened against us but never for us.

That was great to watch again. One of the best saints games.

Anyone notice how nice it was to watch defenders defend receivers and no pass interference bs? I miss that football.

I re-watched the SB from that year not long ago and lost count on how many times I said "Yup, that's a flag in today's game". MUCH more enjoyable to watch then when flags were for flagrant violations of the rules.

2009 Saints defense > 2013, 2017, 2018, and 2019 Saints defenses.

To be fair, 2009 Saints defense doesn't get penalized for an Illegal Blindside Block, when the guy getting blocked sees the defender LOL Those guys didn't have to worry about whether or not the guy they were tackling was going to lower their helmet at the last minute and draw a helmet-to-helmet call.

I realize I'm short changing the ball hawking skills of that defense, but it's such a different game these days.

I would take Bush over Kamara. When Bush touched the ball, it might have been a TD. Kamara not so much.
not this season. but first 2 kamara was really fun to watch. i still think he was hurt and couldnt play like we're used to. hopefully he's a saint next year and stays healthy and we can see 2017/2018 kamara.

That team had a killer instinct about them that we have not seen since
