N/S TNF: 49ers vs Rams (1 Viewer)

Seattle and LA are going to be bigger problems next year though. Home games against us, TB, Houston, Indy, Detroit/Min, and the toughest ones against Pittsburgh/Baltimore. Atlanta, Carolina, Jacksonville, Tennessee. Yikes.

The Rams are going to be a problem for someone in the playoffs. I know we hate them, but they’re a really good team just kind of quietly going about their business as they get healthier.
They beat the 49ers in San Francisco with one Kupp tied behind their back.

Didn’t watch but saw this pop up on my phone. Wild stuff.

Cambell refused to play, said he didn’t want to play football today??? Guessing he’s done.

“Campbell started 12 of the 49ers' first 13 games, filling in for injured linebacker Dre Greenlaw.[38] With the return of Greenlaw in the 49ers' Week 15 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, Campbell was relegated to a reserve role and did not play in the first half.[39] With Greenlaw experiencing fatigue, the team asked Campbell to enter the game, but he refused and later left for the locker room in the second half as the 49ers lost 12–6.”

Gotta love how the 49ers were one of the favorite go-to teams people used all off-season and into the season of how to properly assemble a good roster, with healthy depth and a “healthy cap,” but they’ve in-turn become a shining example of just how much a handful of injuries can derail anyone’s season just like ours, as here they stand just a half game better than us as the season winds down.

It’s almost as if every team is top heavy and razor thin depth-wise, and can’t survive having too many injuries all at once, ain’t it?

They deserve it. I hate that team.

Turns out the Rams are not terrible, especially now that their receiving corps is healthy. Another close but no cigar game for the 2024 Saints.

We are a few plays away from being the worst 9-4 team in history.

You said it! The #1 QB in the league statistically is sitting on a record of 5-8.

This is why you draft a QB high, Purdy can't carry the team without all his weapons. Brady is a unicorn. Injuries affect all teams, but if you don't get the QB right, you can forget a ring.

Reading about the team’s struggles and saw this lol.
Love that note lmao.
