Also, We need someone to pull away in the West and have everyone else in the West knock each other off.

Purdy gets paid, then thier pieces are up a year or two later, when the cap keeps increasing a good bit

I think I would wait another year before giving Purdy a new deal.

With the ironic thing being their head coach kind of missed out on that 09 Saints flushing 43 years of history down the drain by being a training camp injury. So maybe, he becomes a head coach and leads a star-crossed franchise to their own version of the Lombardi Gras?
