@guidomerkinsrules two of the women in this pic did things to a young MBS.. at least in my fertile imagination.. im speaking of Dinah Manoff and Park Overall.. no offense to Estelle Getty and MadMarcia Warfield.. come to think of it, i thought Kristy McNichol was in this show as well(?) Maybe im thinking of another show.. she never did anything for me anyway .

remake was not much better
which is a shame - cool concept
i think studios often make this mistake in genre stories (we see it often in comix movies) they hire someone from outside the genre to tell a regular tv/movie story and then (try) to let SFX make it genre
usually doesn't work

I used to work with a guy who was on the original V when he was like 19 years old.. i knew him many years later.. but he was actually with the teen daughter in the movie Poltergeist the night she was killed.. It’s an interesting rabbit hole to go down if youre bored, he was basically blacklisted from the ndustry for doing nothing to help her, even though he worked here and there- many people still blame him .
