Would love this draft, but think poyer, slay, Williams and Collins will all be taken before where you have us selecting them.

what better story than the Saints taking the Honey Badger and he turning out to be the rookie defensive player of the year under Rob Ryan.... lol would love if for the Honey Badger but would hate it to have to listen to Rob Ryan talk like he is totally responsible for it...

Very solid mock. I'd be happy with those picks. there may be more defensive players fall in this draft due to a run on offensive linemen going pretty high. so we may be getting the players we want and need.

Thats what im thinking and hoping

Its a possibility but the reason we think these players wont drop is because WE need them, dont forget we are a rare team and have a great oline, wrs, te, qb, rbs, other teams need these positions, same for DT's I think we'll be fine and some will fall like they always do.

Rob Ryan will have complete control of who New Orleans pick on defense. where in the hell you guys get that from, that he want. so I guess Sean Peyton and Mickey Loomis are defensive guru experts now. Ryan will pick the best players on defense to fit his scheme as Sean will pick the best offensive players to fit his scheme as well.. I think an aggressive cover cornerback would very well be the pick in round one. A possible trade down for Rhodes or Trufant whom I think will be a steal could allow us to pick up an extra draft pick or 2. maybe a 2nd and 5th. there are a boat load of pas rushing linebackers in this draft pulling the trigger on one in the first is a possibility but will it be smart. hell a monkey can rush the passer if coached properly. You already have Wilson and junior who are absolute beasts at getting after the quarterback and possibly Greg Romeus. I think N.O will attack aggressive in free agency to pick up a couple more pass rushers

I don think you understand how a professional football team works. Mickey Loomis is the final say when it comes to the draft. Even Payton has to get his permission. Ryan will have an input, but at the end of the day it's a group discussion and Loomis' pick.

You're delusional if you think Sean is going to just stick with the offense. He is the head coach. He oversees the entire team. He already let Gregg Williams have too much control and look what happened. The Saints have a full staff of scouts that also have a huge say.

It'll come down to Team need, position finance(how much money is tied up in that position already), Rob Ryan's opinion and SP's opinion based on his scouting staff. That's how the draft works.
