It's a little different when you have Teddy or Jameis on the sideline. Now you're talking we have to keep Trevor S and put Book in the protected practice squad spot and be ready to go with Trevor or Ian if that does happen. It's a different situation. Jameis and Taysom are the guys getting all of the practice reps. There is no Teddy.

Not downing our young guys in any way. But serious question... How many (if any) of our currently available WRs would make the 53 man active roster of any other team in the league, other than Harris as a KR/PR?

My guess is maybe Calloway. Maybe Hogan.

Yeah man I'm not downing our guys at all. I'm sure they are working hard and giving it everything they have. But realistically I think we have maybe two players who make an active roster for most teams. One is currently injured and the other is a second year UDFA.

I remember thinking we were pretty thin before finding out MT was going to be out for some time. It's just not an ideal situation. Obviously the staff has a lot of faith in these guys so hopefully they step up. But right now in August it's definitely cause for pause.

And this is coming from one of the most optimistic sunshine pumpers on this board. This off season has drained me of all sunshine and the little optimism I have left will probably start the season on IR.

I would never put Ian Book on the Practice squad. From what I've been hearing about his development, it's going very well. Book has made mistakes but he also have been a serious impact on the team (positive impact).

Then you have to cut Trevor and have Ian be the guy that comes in if Taysom and Jaemis get hurt on the same play...or just in the same game even.
