U.S. Open Golf Championship - The Year’s 3rd Major (1 Viewer)

The frustration level of all the players who are still trying to figure out how to play this unusual style of golf is evident with each new putt off the greens. Scottie Scheffler is about to lose his mind about how impossible it is to read these greens. It’s scary how messed up this golf course is. :covri:

Scheffler knows he’s now out of this contest, but he is clearly upset at the way this course is setup. I really wouldn’t be surprised if he managed to sustain an ‘injury’ in order to allow him to withdraw from having to play the final round.

Poor DeChambeau… he can’t figure out how to hit his shots easy enough to keep them from rolling off the back of these turtleback greens. He’s putting his chipping game to the ultimate test.

This round is really getting crazy. DeChambeau is leading by one at 6-under, but he is feeling some stiffness in his right hip and he is getting a chiropractic adjustment on the ground near the #11 tee box! And Rory just made a birdie to move into second place. The plot thickens! :hihi:

Right now it’s Åberg & Finau that are fading, and DeChambeau & McIlroy who are moving on up. But this thing is far from over. The USGA will probably layout tire spikes across all the fairways for the final round tomorrow. :covri:
