UEFA Euro 2024 (June 14 to July 14) (1 Viewer)

To be honest, I’ll be rooting for England and Scotland. They’re my peeps.

Beyond that, I mostly just enjoy watching individual players - and the game itself. I enjoy watching Spain play, but I’ve never been able to get behind Portugal. I appreciate Germany but find the whole vibe a bit sterile. I really like a lot of the Belgian players. I don’t feel anything for France despite my affection for Griezmann. Lastly, I think Italy is the most romantic - seeing the Tifosi losing their minds is awesome.

Be all the way honest - it’s because you look like Harry Kane😜

It’s strange - France should be the hands down favorite (and I guess betting lines have them on top) but I hardly hear people mention them
I like the idea that Belgium has been accused of wasting their golden generation and now somehow they’ll figure it out

Current Euro winner odds have ENG the favorite. I get it but that's still wild.

Next four are FRA, GER, SPA, POR
It is a bit wild. England just lost 1-0 to Iceland (72nd in FIFA rankings) in their last warm up. Granted, it was just a friendly, but England's problem has usually been failing to create and convert good chances against teams taking a defensive approach, and that looked like more of the same (13 shots, only one on target). I'm sure they're just working through it, and it'll all click together when the tournament starts...

I'm going with Germany though. Think Florian Wirtz might have a great tournament.

In same vein, I think Portugal has a good mix of young and older (veteran) players that will translate well in this tournament.

CR7 isn't needed to be the guy in every game and they have discovered how to play with each other.

More and more this tourney seems a referendum on Southgate

Just bc this is the most current thread

That's really close. A lot of people will assume it's over just from the look of it, but the entire ball has to have passed over the entire line, if any part of it is even slightly over the line, it's still in. There's one angle where it looks like it probably is entirely over, but another where it looks like maybe it isn't.

Goalkeeper should have grabbed it regardless.
