There's no disconnect with the ins co.. If an outside agency had not become involved, she would still be battling them. I'll bet they knew what they were doing because most people would just give up and take out a loan to pay the bill or claim bankruptcy. The big ins companies are a serious problem in this country and I really don't see a fix on the horizon.

We all know the answer is a single-payer system, and we also know what the likelihood of that happening any time soon is. This piece of crap system will need to collapse, or maybe a few more CEO's get offed before there will be any meaningful change.
