Gut feeling is that Bell is gone IMO. They're saving money if Gardner can have Pro-Bowl level production on rookie deal.

Bell has never been a playmaker and, most likely, never will be. He is a middling player and utterly replaceable. Gardner-Johnson is a much better playmaker already.

Cam, lattimore, davis and bell was our defense this past year. Bell is just getting into his prime now and actually appears to still be an ascending player.

Bell played some deep safety this year and did that well showing his versatility and allowing our defense to better disguise coverages. Unless he prices himself out of our ability to match, or for some reason he wants to leave... signing Bell is likely our #1 priority this offseason.
