So, tonight after urinating normally, I started feeling this urge to go back and pee some more. Nothing doing. Not the first time that's ever happened, so I didn't think anything of it. 5 minutes later, felt like I needed to pee again. At first I ignored it, then a fee minutes later, burning sensation and more urge to pee. Went to pee, sat for a few minutes and a little tricled out, somewhat painful. Got up and and tried to shake it off.

Five minute later, back on the toilet, and this time, same small drizzle and blood. Ugh, and pain getting worse. This has gone on for 3 hours now. Every few minutes I'm back on the can. Every time, a little pee and blood comes out. I'm feeling feverish and shivering even tho temps are fine. Debating going to the hospital because I keep passing blood. Just concerned that the blood is leaking and might be a sign of something more concerning.

My first thought is I have a UTI infection. If it's something else, I have no idea. I'm debating going to hospital now or wait until morning.

This sucks.

In the hospital about an hour now. Waiting for nurse/doc and see what's up. Been going to bathroom a little less, but when I do...I looks weird. Blood is clumped up like it's trying to clot, but still peeing blood. I don't think it's a blockage, but maybe lining tear somewhere. I just worry the clot keeps breaking up causing more bleeding, idk.

Kidney stones? Hope everything checks out okay and you're able to get home soon.
Maybe, idk. I think the pain would be worse of its a stone. It could be I'm trying to pass one or a smallish stone nicked a spot somewhere causing the bleeding.

My guess is UTI, but I've had that before a couple of times and never peed blood. So, no telling yet. My main worry was the peeing blood hasn't slowed down. I didn't want to sleep and wake up in a mess.

Man I hate to hear that Dave. Kidney stones are usually really obvious. You know when you have one. Your body is going to make damn sure you know you have one. The pain is tremendous. Hopefully it's just a UTI like you're thinking.

The older I get the more weird stuff happens. Sometimes I'll have the urge but then I'm just standing there and nothing comes out. Why are you shy all of the sudden? And then some days it seems like I have a bladder the size of a grape. Has to be emptied over and over and over. Getting old is bizarre.

Morning buddy, hope everything is ok.

You know this is a close group when we're all waiting with bated breath on news of a dude's urine.
They're thinking it's an infection and not a kidney stone or anything like that.

Waiting on lab and CT scan results. Hopefully out of here soon. Been here close to 5 hours.

Enjoyed humorous take. :9:

Ever had your blood sugar checked?
