Urinating issues (1 Viewer)

So, basically it's a bladder infection, so not quite a UTI, but close. Gotta drink plenty of fluids and take some antibiotics. Doc said it should clear up in a few days and make an appointment with a specialist just to be sure everything is good.

Never had a bladder infection before. Life happens, yeah.
cool - phew
ok....so what did you stick it in?

Yeah, the meds the have for those type of infections I understand are quite effective. I was given some meds at the hospital and it makes a big difference.
Glad it's nothing serious. On the plus side, if the meds they gave you are the same as what they give the ladies your urine will be an amazing shade of blue!
Now get well and carry on.

Dammit. The one time I sleep through the night I miss the Dave peepee watch-o-rama. Someone wake me up next time. If efil4stnias is in the bathroom with massive diarrhea, I wanna know about it! Oh wait, that was the colonoscopy thread...but you get what I mean.

Glad you're feeling better, Dave. You're one of my favorite posters, but I'll be damned if I give you any cred on the SSF.

Glad to hear that! I mean, a bladder infection isn't ideal but it's best case scenario relatively. It will clear up. Just be glad you didn't have to go toe to toe with a kidney stone. I've tangled with two of em. They're rough. Wouldn't wish that on anyone.

I’m just seeing this Dave and glad that it’s not serious and hope that you’re not in too much pain.

Kudos to all of you who were on pecker watch for Dave. It speaks volumes regarding your feelings about him and that’s amazing.

Whew, take care with it. I turned 50 recently and these issues are starting to creep up on me too. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Glad you're mostly ok.

My dog had a similar issue fairly recently - having to go a few times in a row, and a small tinge of blood in there. His was due to struvite crystals (basically pre-stones fro what I understand) in his bladder, it cleared up within a day with antibiotics and a special food. Hopefully it's more or less the same for you. Minus the prescription dog food. Unless you're into that sort of thing.
