I’m fine with the XI mostly. I think starting Tyler is the way to go if you’re going to play him. You get him out at half with 1 sub.

He should’ve never been subbed in against Jam. Cost us 2 subs to get him off at his minutes restriction. At least starting him get him minutes and more control over getting him out.

I’m fine with Haji. Balo is dinged up. Pepi probably should’ve got the start but Haji is on a roll. Keeps Pepi as the super sub.

Musah or Jonny probably come on for Tyler at half.

I like this back line better with Ream and Dest. But man I wish John Brooks were able to pick up when Ream starts falling off. I like the experience running the back line. CCV could be the guy, but he is never available.

So nice to see him back in the fold. Made some heady defensive plays and caps it with that goal.

Overall good first 45. Energy, defending and keeping possession while moving fwd.

This will put more pressure on Mexico to find equalizer and may open them up from that tight mid field defending. Leaving us more space to attack and operate.
