That’s the frustrating thing about these events- we all want to find the logical answers to insanely irrational actions

But I did have similar questions- like hasn’t isis been fairly low-key lately and then why NO at 3am of all times/places?

Isis has been getting hit elsewhere in the world and iirc the US has hit some of their locations in Syria so that may be part of it. But hard to know without any additional facts about the individual. For all we know, he could have left the flag to throw the authorities off as to why he did what he did.

I mean, I still want to know why but not because I'm looking for it to make sense. But there is still a "reason" in their head or they wouldn't do it. It may be a morbid curiosity but I think that's why wackos like me love true crime channels.

CNN reporter said his FBI source said there were not only IEDs found in the truck, but other parts of Bourbon. What the hell?
