Was this game more personal after Winston got hurt? (1 Viewer)

to me, it was more personal on the Bucs side before the injury and then it became more personal on the Saints side.
Well, next game is going to be more personal for the Saints (if Winston did sustain a season ending injury…Heaven forbid).

I wanted this win when Jameis was upright, but when that dirt bag took him out of the game, I wanted blood.

This win meant more than a typical division win.
Sorry but it wasn't a dirty play. It was just football. If it was anybody's fault it was Winston for not sliding but I won't fault him for trying to get extra yardage.

I mean, the refs threw a flag because it was a dirty play, but go off king.

Feel me in. What happened and at what point in the game? Who came in at QB?

I think it’s personal because of the playoffs last year. But the Saints played within themselves and didn’t let emotions run too high. And it was a total team effort with few penalties. It lets you know they were focused. Lattimore didn’t have any after the play penalties while going against Evans. CGJ seems to have stopped his head games and showed up big with an INT.

PJ stayed patient on that interception. Old man Cam forced a fumble out of Grandpa Tom 😂

I wonder if Brady will decline after this game. Every old QB seems to have that one game that starts a really sharp decline. And things don’t go their way so they start thinking of hanging em up.

I will say that he still has enough arm strength. It’s just that he doesn’t want to get hit and he’s making some quick reads leading to interceptions, and in one case a fumble because he doesn’t want to move in the pocket.

It was a very dirty, cheap sheet sort of game and if there remain any doubters left questioning whether Tampa's defense was overly-aggressive, mean, petty, vindictive, and some of their offensive players came across like egotistical, smug butt crevasses walking around during and after Winston's injury like it was big, unknown joke we're all ignorant too.

Yeah, I wanted blood, and an extraordinary large piece of Buccaneers collective red, pewter fleshy arse. Its a terrible sin to admit this, but part of me at times secretly hoped and wished one of our LBs, DEs or CBs made a nice, dirty hit on Mike Evans, or tear Leonard Fournette's ACL and send his arse to the IR and sidelines for rest of regular season. Give Brady or Gronk one of the worst, hardest, slowest to recover from concussions where just the mere specter of light makes them wince their eyes for close to a week.

It wasn't a dirty play, or a play in which the defensive player intended to hurt Winston. The reason why the flag was thrown is because the definition of a horse collar has expanded way beyond the collar. Someone will probably post a picture, but the defender grabbed the side of the back pad below the shoulder pads. At any other angle, nothing happens to Winston.

Is it Kiko Alonso on Joe Flacco dirty? No. Was it a bad angle to take Winston down on? Yes. That’s why it was a penalty.

I didn’t go to LSU, so I don’t care if White is never allowed back in the state of Louisiana. Hope he likes Florida.

Yes, it was. And I think the team saw it that way as well.
