I feel relieved I don’t have to hear garbage from other fans about Watson. It’s too much baggage regardless of his innocence/guilt. We’re above that circus. Would have been fun to watch a talent like that play, but it probably wouldn’t have been worth the divide. Messy stuff.

$230 million fully guaranteed. I am so glad we don't have him for that price, plus the three first rounders. Good Lord.

Not surprised. It was all about the Benjamins for Watson. He wanted as a big of contract as he could get so he can pay his lawyers and make civil settlements. If he's getting $230M guaranteed (as is being reported), plus the Browns giving up serious compensation to the Texans, plus a likely suspension for a few games from the league. Well, then, I am thrilled we missed out on him.

Sometimes the best moves are the ones we don't make. I'll chalk this up as one of those. I'll happily keep Winston as our starter (if he is still interested) or take Mayfield off of Cleveland's hand for a song.

Ok, I fully disagree, makes absolutely no sense….I think JW is the better QB by a mile….Baker had great weapons on offense and still couldn’t get it done….the Browns invested a #1 pick in him and now want him gone….that speaks volumes….

Personally, I hope we draft Corral. But I think Baker has been poorly coached in NFL. I thought he was one of the best I had ever seen coming out of college. His touch on his passes and his accuracy was amazing. Plus, you had to admire the guy. He was a walk-on who worked his way to Heisman Trophy Winner.

Personally, I hope we draft Corral. But I think Baker has been poorly coached in NFL. I thought he was one of the best I had ever seen coming out of college. His touch on his passes and his accuracy was amazing. Plus, you had to admire the guy. He was a walk-on who worked his way to Heisman Trophy Winner.

Yeah, I don’t agree that you can blame him underperforming on “coaching” but maybe a change of scenery will do him good, I guess we will see….
