Watson to the Browns (1 Viewer)

When she tells you not to worry about the guy with money, never listen to her...it's a setup.

It is stunning to me how incompetent the Falcons organization is. They are truly one of the bottom 5 garbage franchises in all of North American sports.

He called them saying he wanted to come play for them!! It’s the funniest thing I remember happening to the Falcons since the last funniest thing.

That’s going to put them in salary cap hell. No draft picks, a massive amount of guaranteed money. The nice thing about incentive money is you don’t pay as much if there’s a season ending injury and you can restructure more easily to make room for FAs.

This gives the Browns a questionable player and no flexibility to move on if things go badly. The potential for disaster is high

I'm so happy he isn't going to Atlanta. They're soooooo mad. Twitter and Facebook is phenomenal right now. Not sure if this was posted yet in here. 😂😂😂💀

HA! And the Falcons will likely lose the only good player they had left in Matt Ryan because they pushed their chips all in!

At this point they might as well see what they can get for him and go all in on getting Stroud or Young(or Richardson, etc) in 23.

Hopefully though, they will keep him and be mediocre with no upside.

I think it worked out best. Yes, we need a talented QB, but one with no pending legal troubles/possible suspensions that would have cost a ransom, plus 3 years of 1st round picks and who knows what else? Just insanity. I think this sport has become more about the drama involved than the actual game.

Goodness gracious as if the AFC is not loaded enough of young QBs, I think it's dumb on Watson's part to go to the AFC when the NFC is wide open.

Mahomes, Herbert, Wilson, Josh Allen, Borrow and now Watson.

Thank you Cleveland , Thank You Cleveland , Thank You Cleveland. We SOOO dodged a major bullet. Massage Parlor really didn't want to come here that's why he reached out to the Failclowns when us and Car had offers on the table. Then he bends over backwards and make everyone wait while Atl tries to make it happen ( Drama Queen) only to really show his true colors and shout to everyone " I'm all about the Money$$$$". Thank all the powers that be Cleveland is dumb enough to throw the biggest guaranteed contract at him. I think ML just hung in there so the clowns were not the only team in the race to make them pay more. Now we got the best of both world no massage parlor and Atl P'Oed off Ryan
I agree with everything except out of the 3 teams Cleveland's roster overall is the best of the 3 and it's stable. That contract is horrendous compared to the risk especially the fact it's all guaranteed so he gets paid no matter what. It seems like some was going on and Cleveland jumped in and threw this crazy amount 😳 honestly that's something that not many athletes are going to turn down or anybody would. With that being said thank God he is someone else's risk.

I bet Cleveland panicked yesterday when Baker said he wanted out, and that caused them to call Watson and just meet every single one of his demands and probably more.

There was no way Mickey was going to give anyone a fully guaranteed contract, not with his legal issues.

Well thank God this is over. Nothing left to see here folks. I was on the fence about this trade the whole time. I'm just glad we didn't pony up with that kind of a deal. Now with all the cap space we've created, let's go and apologize and beg Winston for forgiveness and get him signed and see if we can get Armstead to re-sign. Spend a little more money in FA on a WR, sign a few of our own FA's and use all of our draft picks wisely and build us an offensive and defensive Juggernaut to win championships.
