Yes, it's once again impressive that they locked down the second half, but giving up 24 points in the first half is inexcusable. That's five straight games they've given up a bunch of 1st half points and had to play from a hole. Where is the elite defense we thought we had?

DA staple has always been to feel out opponent in first with major adjustments at half.

Previous to him as HC we had SP and Drew that could put pressure on opponent offense by scoring. So it wasn't as glaring.

We don't have that luxury now

The one thing Dennis Allen had going for him was elite defense. Now that’s gone there isn’t a single reason for him to remain HC. Not one.
