Welp we lost Murray to the Broncos (3 Viewers)

Yeah I know, I like him better in that role. We lose a part of our offensive plays when he is just used in a QB role. But for the last 3 weeks he's also taking snaps as the backup QB, and he's also been in the QB room. That was reported a couple of weeks ago. I can't find the news article anymore. All I was trying to point out was that we didn't need to elevate Luton but instead sign Murray to the 53 man roster and waive TJJ to make room. But I found out that an offer was made to Murray to become part of the 53 and he turned it down and went to Denver. So the point I was trying to make is moot.

A lot of people are making a big deal about the FOs handling of it, but Murray actually played the Saints and used them as leverage to get a contract somewhere. He knew that the easiest way to get some game time was to come be on the practice squad with an oft-banged up Kamara and fumbling Ingram in a system that he was comfortable with. It worked for him.
