What did Ingram Say? (1 Viewer)

Oh oh... Mark is lucky there's not an NFL team in Siberia.

Actually, if Payton is true to form, Pittsburgh is going to see a lot of what Ingram does best sort of a challenge to Ingram to say ok prove it. We’ve seen how Ingram traditionally responds to that.

Mark has been frustrated with he play calling before, and rightfully so. I believe he was averaging 5.9 YPC at that point.

I wouldn’t read too much into it, though. This stuff happens all the time. Especially in a late season divisional game with a lot on the line and nothing going right. He’s passionate and wants to win. Trust me, we WANT angry Mark.
In other words, Payton should make that the first play of every game?

Makes you wonder why MI22 isn't getting more touches.

I still think Payton is trying to hold him from passing Deuce this season where he has to re-sign next year if he wants to be the franchise’s leading rusher. At the same time they can lowball him knowing he is more likely to bend on his number he’ll re-sign for with that fat, juicy carrot hanging right in front his face.

We’ll see what happens against the Steelers, if he only gets a handful of carries again then we’ll know what’s up.

I do remember after one Ingram run, where he turned around, and you could hear him. It sounded, to me, like he said, "KEEP RUNNIN' THAT ****!!!" or something like that. I don't know if he was talking about that specific play, or just running the ball in general, but it was interesting to hear at least (especially, since they didn't bleep out the ****). At the time, I agreed with him.

Payton frustrated and "starved" Ingram in order to have him hulk out into Angram for the next game.

I agree. I took it as him yelling at Carolina's Defense that he was ready and they'd keep coming at them despite him being "stopped" on that play.

Ingram is a high character guy. I can't imagine him yelling at coach from the middle of the field about bad playcalling.

He's also a high energy guy. I can TOTALLY see him talking trash after every single play, regardless of how many yards he gained. He gets better as the game goes on.

Video presents “facts”???

Um, no.

Fact: Video showed he was talking to someone.
Opinion: He was talking to Sean.
Opinion: He was talking about the play.

For all we know, he could be talking to the guy who made him wear a certain type of shoe.
Maybe he was talking about a blocking scheme.
And I’ve heard the audio...it just isn’t clear enough to say EXACTLY what he said.

Many in this thread seem to be saying, "I reject YOUR reality and substitute MY own!"

Guys quit spinning this team into a ‘Brady bunch’ family.....it’s not!! Yes, Ingram was pissed at the play call. He needed to be, the play calling was garbage Monday night...it is what it is. Offense will bounce back next week, but we need to listen to Ingram, he needs to be fed the ball MORE and in different formations.

Lmao! Thanks man. I been having a crap day and that me literally laugh out loud hahaha.
*I’ve been*. “and that made me”.

Just so you’re awar you made a few mistakes. Just an example of your trash talk.?
