But I think his future with Minnesota will hinge on how he performs tomorrow against the Rams.
I hope he goes for 350yds, 4 TDs and 75% completion rate.

Sam was a #1 or near the top pick which means he went to a bad team and maybe organization which was not the best. Combine that with having to learn the game and it took time and the right organization to make it work. Look at Baker Mayfield. Started in Cleveland had to learn the game, disorganized mess of a franchise. Gets out of there goes to the Rams and shows he can play but just can’t overtake a talented Matthew Stafford for that job. Goes to the right situation in Tampa bay and look at him last couple years. Geno smith sat for a couple years before he got the right opportunity with the Seahawks. I do think what we seeing is the real Sam Darnold reaching his potential in the right situation.Where was this Sam Darnold? He came out of nowhere to become one of the nfl's best this year. Do you think it's a one year wonder thing or a true picture? Kinda similar to Baker Mayfield? Thoughts?

Did you see him against the Lions. He’s still the same Sam. Hopefully he lights it up against the Rams so the Vikings vastly overpay for him and trade their rookieWhere was this Sam Darnold? we really will only know that tomorrow cause he was bad vs lions last week. needs to win a gmDid it click?
Same thing that happened to Baker Mayfield. Go to a team that had a couple of stud WRs and pretty good o-line and runningback. Also helps that defense is pretty good as well.Where was this Sam Darnold? He came out of nowhere to become one of the nfl's best this year. BS 2017 thru 2020 the Jerts had some of the worst OLs in the leagueHe has the 2nd best WR in football…. It’s not that hard. Surround your mid QB with incredible weapons and he will look pretty damn good.
Which is why I’ve been pounding the table for a draft full of young and uber talented playmakers on offense.
He’s had solid Olines before…. He’s never had a Justin Jefferson.
