Superbowl TV ratings for Nashville higher than last year

Official ratings will be out about noon. Preliminary ratings do not look good for the game with some of the regional ones on twitter showing a large drop in many places.

CBS drew a 44.9 overnight rating for Patriots-Rams last night. That figure is the lowest for a Super Bowl since Steelers-Cards drew 42.1 in 2009.

What did I see. 43 in Carolina. 47 in Illinois. The only one I’ve seen up at all is the Nashville area.

Dropped about 2-3M compared to other years. Almost 5M from peak.

Not bad for a region that only has around 1-2M people.
