Hey teachers, leave them kids alone.

Most teachers are on a power trip, they are literally public servants, and hardly act that way. Why does a teacher need a bachelor's degree to teach elementary math? Also, when was the last time students got to grade the teacher? It should be mandatory, after every subject is taught, that students critique the instructor (in writing), and reviewed by the principal, before the teacher is allowed to teach again. It would end much of the abuse, or at least have records of it. Teacher unions has teachers sitting doing nothing and getting paid, when they should be fired.

Anyways, I blame the school system, more than the students, or teachers.

Yes, teachers are all evil and need to be held accountable......and all students will be perfectly objective when they grade their teachers.....

Is above some kind of sarcasm? If not, it's absolutely braindead.....

Strawman argument above. Very nice! I like the insult, "braindead", it shows intelligence and sophistication at the same time. lol

I brought up some very valid points, if you don't agree, that's fine, but at least show some understanding on what was written.

The best I can do is say that about 75% of it is a braindead, unrealistic, complete lack of understanding of how teachers, students and teacher unions work.....

I can't see how anyone would want to be a public school teacher these days, and many want education to be totally privatized, which is a recipe for disaster IMO.....I'm sure Guido will chime in as well...

There are great teachers and there are not so great ones, the problem is that if you remove the bad ones there is no one to fill their shoes.
Schools are overcrowded as it is and both students and teachers suffer for it.

This is a gross and misinformed oversimplification of the issues teachers face and the myriad problems school boards and teachers' unions have to deal with. And ultimately, because much of education is public schooling, it's a political topic that doesn't really get fully addressed unless it's on the MAP politics site.
