Dealers make minimum wage plus tips. You are tipping because of the service you receive. If your dealer is friendly and making your gaming experience fun and enjoyable. As a dealer I don't have to remind you of your bets, I don't have to sort your chips after you win on craps, but as a good dealer I will if you are tipping. You tip based on the level of service and the percentage you tip is determined by how much you win. If your service is bad and not enjoyable, don't tip at all
