Why is it all I hear is that the extra point was the only reason we won the game?

Yes it won the game for us!
But we were dominating the second half and if we went into overtime we still had a better then average chance of winning this game!

Same thing with the Cleveland kicker missing at the end of our game. It was an attempt to tie and many people treat it as though we would have lost had he made it.

I was just thinking the same thing. I don't care, just keep winning.

The next four weeks are critical to HFA. Which is the path to the SB.

There is a section of our fan base that expect 40 burgers, double digit wins, perfect execution in all three phases and when those aren't met, they show up to malign whatever phase made it impossible.

We held a really good team to below their avg in points and rush yards, in their house. A team that had not givien up a TD in the second half in 6 games.

We scored 2.

Just like us, the Ravens had to execute. They didn't and lost. It's really that simple.

Didn't we fumble on the first drive left points ? We won y'all are getting just as finicky at LSU Fans

Probably because our fate may have come down to a coin toss. If we had lost the toss I'm not sure I would've felt comfortable with our defense trying to stop them.

We kick the 3 points on 4th down in the first half instead of the option play to Kamara we win regardless if he makes the kick or not also. It should of been our game anyways!

BEcause people’s don’t trust the defense yet. That secondary

They were on the ropes. We could have won in OT but this was better!

Gotta love it: "This guy hasn't missed an extra point EVAR!"

2 Seconds later Michael Jordan tears meme....lol

We won, they lost! We executed, they didn't. We were not lucky, we were the better team when it counted. Extra points are important and if special teams don't execute, the team loses. Not taking on the "we got lucky crap". The Saints ST performed better than the Ravens ST and that was the difference in the game.

Besides, you could tell the Saints offense was getting stronger. We could have taken the field and went 80 yards and scored a touchdown and ended it just as easy.

Actually we got the bad end of the deal in that had we stopped their offense in OT and drove the field and stuffed a touchdown in their throats, it would have made an even bigger statement! I feel robbed now!

The Saints proved they can play tough nosed football in a hostile environment. The Saints BEAT the Ravens at their own game in their house!
