I saw so many pink towels on the field that were ripped away from players during the play that became too distracting

Still doesn't hold a candle to the season they gave the referees pink flags and changed the 1st down line to pink on the broadcast. I think it was 2013? Maybe 2014?

I think this year the league is focusing on raising awareness of the fact that Colin Kaepernick doesn't like the police.
