I think the team is announced in about a week and I have to believe that Aaron Rodgers and Mike Vick will be a lock to be on the initial Pro Bowl roster and that would leave one more QB from the NFC.

I think that final spot will be out of Drew and Matt Ryan. With Eli and Josh Freeman falling next.

All Saints homerism aside either Brees or Ryan not making the initial team is going to be considered a major snub. I do believe that Brees will get the spot and it might just give the media and the Falcons that chip on their shoulder buzz that will drive most Saints fans nuts.

Anyway just something to watch for in the next couple of weeks.

If that's the case, Drew will easily make it because he's the most popular QB in the NFC, if the not entire league. I mean the guy just won the Sports Illustrated SOTY award from Peter King and we had the highest rated thanksgiving game seen on TV that showed what type of QB Drew is on that gw drive, along with him leading the conference in all QB statistical categories, yet we're sitting here debating if he'd make the Pro Bowl.

I mean what are we talking about, the Pro Bowl? We're talking about Drew Brees making the Pro Bowl, come on. Not the MVP, the frickin' Pro Bowl, that selects 3 QB's. And some don't think Drew can be one of those 3?!?!?

If Drew doesn't make it, no one else from the Saints should either.
 
Are you guys on drugs! Drew will easily make the pro bowl. Wow some serious little man syndrome going on in here. No way Matt Ryan gets in over him.. I'm shocked nobody seems to think he's getting in. He's Brees lol coaches and players will only make it more of a landslide between him and Ryan.

Ryan will get in ahead of Brees unless the Saints pass the Falcons in the standings. The media picks a new darlin' every season. Last year Saints, this year Falcons. Vick will get in on his story. He hasn't played enough in my book. Rodgers is a shew in.

Exactly. The majority of Pro Bowl voting is done by the fans with the other third coming from the players & coaches.

Matt Ryan would have to get 80,000+ votes to catch up with Drew without Drew getting that many the rest of the way and there's absolutely no realistic chance of that happening.

I haven't heard anywhere on ESPN or NFLN saying Matt Ryan should be voted into the Pro Bowl; his numbers doesn't back it up. It's been mostly about Vick.

Honestly I don't want to touch your political comment but your comment makes no sense regardless. Brees is winning in fan vote by a bunch... so how come the media isn't swaying these fans votes? Isn't that what your ssaying happens. People have minds and everyone can see Brees is playing better than Ryan... Even the media knows this besides maybe Clayton.

Also you really think when the player and coaches vote they won't pick Brees. They play these guys they know who does more. It is only going to make the voting more in favor of Brees.

Actually reading your other post it seems you must be a big time follower of the falcons. So maybe that's where this Matt Ryan love is coming from.

It's actually split in thirds, so it not majority fans.

1/3 - Fans
1/3 - Coaches
1/3 - Players
