Will Smith goes on stage at the Oscars and hits Chris Rock then verbally threatens him from his seat (1 Viewer)

Pass. Won’t see the movie.
I will. There's only so many times a person can apologize and show remorse for something. He's done that. Chris Rock isn't obligated to accept it, but that his decision.

Emancipation should have won an Oscar.

I have an issue with the current trend of movies with female leads who are supposed to be butt-kicking badasses but the actress is a pretty thing who weighs 95 lbs soaking wet or a grandma, like Sofia Boutella, Jennifer Lopez, etc...

I also have a problem with actors who play butt-kicking badasses in movies but in real life are beaches.

It's really not much different than the man side. There's a really long list of action hero movies played by a man old enough for social security which is really awesome to watch. Watching an unarmed Liam Neeson at 71 years old take on a trained army is not legendary but its great comedy.

You’re not wrong. Let’s just say he disappointed me and I don’t care to be reminded of it. I don’t watch much from Robin Williams either. I don’t like thinking about it and it’s the first thing I think of when I see him.

I agree with your sentiment about Robin Williams. It took me a while, but I got over it and back to enjoying a flick with him in it every now and then and yeah, it's sad when reminded of it, but not gonna stop me from watching.

Funnily enough, there is a guy named Bruce Li who is a Taiwanese actor and martial artist that started in a bunch of cheapo martial arts movies after Bruce Lee died. There was a whole "Brucesploitation" movement where everyone was trying to cash in on his name and popularity. I owned a bunch of these movies on DVD at one time.

I mean maybe they are, I don't keep tabs on the celebs, but is Hollywood as up in arms about Diddy as they were about one grown man slapping another grown man?
Probably not yet but I think it's coming. Well, I hope it's coming. That guy apparently never met a woman he didn't slap.
