I threw up in my mouth a little reading this list. I didn't see a lot of tears flowing around here when we let Janoris depart. Former CB1's who morph into SOLID CB2's don't grow on trees. Your move, Loomis.

Yeah I agree what's left on the list of FA CB's ain't much. And those are just the names of some that I recognized. What's left of the list are CB's I haven't even heard of. They must be practice squad members that were released. We can only hope that some others that are younger with some potential get released come June 1st.

Yeah I would never consider signing Robey-Coleman. His name was on the list, so I put him in there.

I actually think one of these would be better than Sherman. I'm not sold that he is still the same player and think Conley might be rehabilitated in a new environment with a decent dline.

I think we most likely will but it won’t likely be someone who will excite many of us. That doesn’t mean they can’t be solid for us. CB is IMO one of the toughest positions in sports and even the best at it, are going to have fans that choose to remember the bad over the good. When it’s bad, it’s glaring and when it’s good it doesn’t usually even get seen on TV.

Sherman and Breeland are the only two difference makers i see on this list. If NO cant get either one, its probably best to roll with whats on the roster at CB.

Better to get the young CBs plenty of reps, than to waste them on a marginal veteran who most likely wont get better as camp moves on.

Also if the Saints can get these young CBs plenty reps and game time they will be better able gauge what they have for next years draft.

I’d take any of those four as our #2.

I really like Poole for some reason, usually solid but had a bad year last year.

Conley is the only schmuck in that group that we can afford and hopefully get meaningful minutes without profound opposition success against us. Conley can be had for less than 2 mil, more like 1.5 mil. We are dumpster diving because of salary cap even with redoing Ram et al.

Saints have no money to bring in a vet CB. We have Lattimore, Jenkins, Williams ,CGJ but people are acting like we have no talent in the secondary when we just have an opening at CB opposite Lattimore.
