With the 9th Pick in the 2025 draft, who should the Saints select? (merged) (12 Viewers)

Technically he was at 10. But when almost half of the OGs picked in the Top 10 pan out doesnt sound like a position of automatic exclusion to me.

But I would agree you better be darn certain if you are going to take such a big risk.

Which is why it would be a major risk to draft an OT that your project to move to OG that high. Given that Campbell was a highly rated prospect coming out of high school, I doubt that he has ever played OG and I don't recall him playing OG at LSU. It seem likely he could make the transition, but that's a lot of risk at #9.

And as has been mentioned, if you think he is an OG, you better be really sure he's a HoF Guard or an perennial All-Pro.

I agree. I’d rather draft a guard to play guard in Rd2 or Rd3 than draft a tackle to play guard in Rd1.
