I definitely need one of our legal gurus to explain this one. I can see suing the guy who infected her, but the car insurance company simply because it occurred in the vehicle? The vehicle didn't cause the injury. The guy did.

Sort of a " here is your late Friday 'wtfork'" article.

i cant even being to understand how the vehicle insurer is being held responsible for a sexual act that took place in the vehicle.

i simply dont get. but then i dont know MO law, so maybe there is something in State law?

The arbitrator is stupid and ridiculous and the law is highly deferential to arbitration awards.

Here I’m sure that at some point GEICO adopted a policy favoring arbitration because it’s cheaper in the macro. Score this on the red side of the ledger.

Another classic case of making a corporation pay for something they had nothing to do with.

So disappointed it didn't list what kind of car it was. I bet it was a Camry......maybe a Taurus but the evidence suggests a Camry.

I've had very good luck with Geico. Two totalled vehicles (rear ended and a tree fell on another), and no troubles at all.
as the, um, victim (?), was a long, and frustrating, process for a payout.

Same here. Totaled vehicle and cut a reasonable check for it. Not too much hassle. Most of the communications were through their app. Only one phone call to verify what happened in the accident and they took care of the rest.
