Come one, tell us why that is. Don't be shy. Many of us know why but some others like to resist admitting it.

I know what you’re getting at however we have neglected the position for quite some time now while spending significant dollars elsewhere. I think it’s more of a philosophical choice than a financial restriction. Now granted, this recent Adams situation was likely financial related although reports say it was more about the draft compensation, but even still, we have almost never signed or gone after anyone of significance at that position, “Name brand,” household name guys, if you will.

When we do acquire legitimate weapons for the passing game, virtually exclusively via the draft, we end up not wanting to deal with their personalities.

We have been neglecting proven veteran talent at that position even well before we started the “all-in” cap strategy.

Look at our opponent this week and their receiving room under Sean…it’s philosophy, and now a holdover philosophy in our building.
