NFL Draft WR Kyren Lacy wanted for felony hit and run/negligent homicide (67 Viewers)

did he leave the scene because he wanted the drugs / alcohol to get out of his system? Because a DWI is better to have than fleeing a homicide... anyone know why he fled?
Many times you see someone's reckless actions cause others to crash trying to evade them. They didn't get a scratch and just continue on or flee. He compounded one bad decision (passing at a high rate of speed in a no passing zone) with another (fleeing the scene of the accident he caused). A person dying in the accident sent this to a much, much higher level.

Just a minute prior to his impatient decision to pass the other cars, the lives of these victims was just another, normal day.

What punishment would he be facing if he did not run from the scene and took responsibility by calling it in and going from there? I guess he gets to make use of his lawfirm NIL deal now or at least I think its LSU football players that are sponsored by Gordon or someone.
Did a quick search for vehicular negligent homicide in La = 5-30 yrs

He has other charges and hurt someone else and ran

Gordon will probably be the one suing him.

My goodness, the number of times I've grrr-ed at other drivers who pass me on a two-lane road by people who think I'm apparently not driving fast enough. Happens a lot up here in Miss., too.
You get mad because people pass you?...

Leonard Little played an NFL career having killed someone while DUI. Heck 5 years, after the fact he made threats to someone else and then added another DUI to his resume.

I'm extremely familiar with this area... this is not a broad interstate highway with lots of shoulder room... it's a curvy 2lane road through the former swamp, ditches on either side. Yeah, way too many people passing in these areas....
I travel that road up through Chackbay everytime I go to Baton Rouge and yeah, there’s NO shoulder. Especially that stretch northbound after the LA-307 junction that goes to Kraemer.

The area the wreck occurred in (according to the photo LSP posted) was right in front of the Dollar General after passing the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church while going southbound so while not as bad as that other section of LA-20, he definitely didn’t need to be flying through there either as there’s a lot of driveways and businesses right near the road.

Once you make that big left hand curve in front the church there’s a straightaway that goes for a mile or so until right after Chackbay Elementary, but if I’m not mistaken the area where the wreck occurred the speed limit is 45 or 50 but it’s been a minute since I passed last.
