I dunno if I'll eventually feel differently about how they ended this series, but all I can say right now is that episode made me cry at the funeral for an actor who just left a show but is not actually dead. All in all, I'm good with the wrap up.
 
I'm not so sure it is the end of the series. It is billed as "Season" finally in the bottom left corner of my screen during last scenes.

Yellowstone and the Dutton's Montana story is definitely done, but some of these supporting character's stories will move forward with the upcoming 6666.

Yeah, but it felt like end of series, barring the set up it gave for a new Beth-Rip spin off or a Teeter-shut up, Jimmy 6666 spin off.

Or are they just continuing all of them under the Yellowstone series as they are now calling the network premiere "Yellowstone: 1923" instead of just "1923". So it will be Yellowstone: 6666 even though it'll be in Texas?

Also is Taylor Sheridan the new Aaron Spelling or the new Aaron Sorkin?

Also, also, should we insist he change his name to Aaron Sheridan?

I don't even know if that is something that could work. Rip, the sullen cowboy and Beth whose act has grown overly tiresome, leading a TV series? That would be a waste of time that he could use to give us more Lioness and Landman.

Saldana, Kidman, Kelly & Freeman are killing it on that show. That's why call BS on these stories about Sherridan being hard to work with. There are too many actors that have repeatedly worked with him across multiple projects, those recent negative takes on Sherridan are probably coming from the Costner camp.

Yep, Lioness has such a great cast. The final episode this season was bonkers...
 
I didn’t love it or hate it. I didn’t care for how quickly they dealt with the brother but ultimately it ended. To be fair this season was meh anyway.
