You’re Stranded on a Desert Island (not dessert) (2 Viewers)

I feel like not enough of you have invested in your primitive survival skills as a hedge against apocalypses.

Well i dont see "Wife" as an option so i already win.

( love ya hun ) in case she ever reads this.

Knife
Tarp
water purifier ( cant drink salt water )
matches.

( if the Fishing rod comes with line/hook/plastic bait - then take off Tarp and replace with fishing rod )

I think anyone on a desert island is already ahead of the game in regards to primitive survival skills as a hedge against apocalypses. The only thing that they would need to overcome is their own environment (food, water, shelter). In an apocalypse you have to overcome their own environment plus their neighbors. Change the desert island to a neighborhood and 9/10 Dentists would pick the rifle.

Tropical island- you’ve got coconuts, et al plus rain and morning dew
You should be able to stay hydrated

Sadly, you've ignored that survival without society is the root problem. Yeah the island might protect u from zombies and other people, but u got abt 3 days to get potable water regardless of what's happening on the mainland.

Does anyone else watch Naked and Afraid?

Assuming there is no imminent rescue and you'll be there for more than a few days you'll want things that don't run out, which eliminates a good number of the items on the list. For example, if there was a flint or magnesium fire stick I would take that for sure, but matches would probably run out pretty quickly, so I'd pass on them and try to make primitive fire with a bow drill.

1. Knife - for cutting wood, cleaning any kills, crafting items, etc.
2. Pot - for boiling water, cooking food
3. Tent - you could make a shelter over time, but having the tent for shelter would allow you to immediately focus on fire, water, and food, and also provide extra bug and rain protection when you sleep at night
4. Rope - you could break it down to make twine to make your own fishing pole, or a fishing net, and also use it to make a bow drill for making fire and snares to catch small animals

Is tree sap a fappable product? Asking for guido…..

coconut water is, in large amounts, a laxative.

Gimme the water purifier.
My wife and I learned a ton about the health benefits of coconuts when we vacationed in Maui earlier this year. They’re healthy as all get-out and there’s nothing wrong with cleaning out your poop-mobile while you try to get off that island. :hihi:
However, coconuts freak me out - I don’t like the way they stare at me. Bastiges make me feel threatened.
