Your all-time starting five in basketball (2 Viewers)

Magic, MJ, Bird, Duncan, Hakeem

john Stockton
michael jordan
larry bird
karl malone
Hakeem olajuwon

PG- Magic Johnson
SG- Michael Jordan
SF- Dominique Wilkins
PF- Tim Duncan
C- Wilt Chamberlain

PG: john stockton
SG: michael jordan (this shouldn't even be an option)
SF: larry bird
PF: tim duncan or dennis rodman (hard choice, one is great all round, the other is a defensive beast)
C: robert parish

I'm baffled that Rodman is getting mentioned on this list. How about Moses Malone, he could rebound like Rodman and wasn't limited to just that one thing. All Rodman could do was rebound and get loose balls. Hell, I can get loose balls.
before rodman was well known for this outrageous hair and crazy antics, he was the defending 2x nba defensive player of the year. on a pistons team where the starting five were all among the top in their positions for defensive play, he was the best.

I like this list but I'd have to put Bird in instead of Dominique.

How about the coach? Pat Riley, Auerbach or Jackson? A coach I really respected growing up was Daly with the Pistons.

Rodman is arguably the best defensive player ever - and at a minimum he was the most versatile defensive player the association has seen.

Plus, he could get into an opponents' head like no other

No love for John Stockton....the all-time leader (by far) in assists and steals?

As much as I love Jordon, I will always resent him for the 97 and 98 finals.

he's on my list. stockton can move the ball around like no other.

So I'm guessing we're just gonna go ahead and say the early 90's dream team and be done with this right? I mean, everyone's list has over 3 players from that era.

Larry Bird - F
Bob Pettit - F
John Stockton - G
Jerry West - G
Bill Walton - C
