i was going to go in the attic to look for the original promo poster and movie card to show y’all what art is. not anymore.

oh death trap rickety ladder with splinters all over it and i try to avoid one of the steps. when climbing it, you can feel the ladder start to bend to the side. the top you have to duck and bend sideways to climb in, yet the attic is about 10ft tall.

screams osha approved. i dunno why when they installed my new ac, they removed it and used a metal ladder.

Love it. I can't turn it off if it comes on TV. Dune with William Hurt would be in my top 10 - own the dvd. On my bedstand is Dune right now. I'm pretty sure I have read the first six novels at least once each and I'm on my third or fourth reading of the original.

The visuals and quality of the actors are excellent. It should have gotten a 3 hr run time upon release and the public opinion would have been better. I wish David Lynch would make a director's cut. The extended edition helps.

Denis Villeneuve, who did Arrival and Blade Runner 2049, is remaking Dune. It will be a two-part film like the mini-series.

i don’t love it, but i will watch it whenever it is on. not only do i find it cheesy, but better yet some of the acting is underrated. it makes up for the rest. decent adaptation.
