YouTubeTV WILL be offering a free trial to Sunday Ticket this weekend (2 Viewers)

Really stinks that Apple didn’t get it because they weren’t going to charge any extra fees to customers of Apple TV (which is already stupid cheap). Of course the NFL hated that idea and went with Google who has no issue charging through the nose for this.

109 without red zone and 119 with it. A few of my Oklahoma friends with university students are using it. My daughter is going to a local community college even.

$350-$450 to watch football. Insanity.
We cheer when "this" happens, but these prices are the end result.
The"this" I'm referring to?

Deshaun Watson
Lamar Jackson
Nick Bosa
Joe Burrow...
you see where this is going?

Nothing we can do about it; just highlighting how we get impacted.

If I think about it....
2 game tickets $125 a piece
Parking $50
Beer and food $100 easily.
That's $400 just to go to one live game

True for sure - but the Ticket is for out of market customers, so I think you compare it to going to a season of games at the sports bar. I think the early sign-up discount was $349.

So for this year, the Saints appear to have just 3 national broadcast (primetime) games, so if you're not in the Saints TV market, you're looking at 14 games. Presuming you're the kind of fan (like everyone here) that wants to watch every game, that's just under $25 per game.

To watch at your house, with your store-bought food and beer, I think it's a pretty solid value. Yeah it's expensive and there are alternatives that require some tech savvy and may not be legal, but all things considered, it's the best option for being able to have the game at your house, on whatever TVs you want, etc.

Assuming single person, its cheaper just to go to sports bar to watch the non-prime time games, if you don't spend too much (like maybe $20). And you get food and atmosphere ...

$20 at a bar during a three-hour Saints game? lol

What year do you live in? 😁

(btw when I was in DC from '05 to '10 I used to watch at that sports-bar/pool-hall at DuPont Circle - they had the Ticket, I could walk there. It was definitely fun and the same Saints fans came every week, had a lot of fun - but even then there's no way I could just spend $20 during a game. What was the name of that place? It might be The Admiral now?)
