I’ve had Sunday ticket for years.

When I heard Apple lost out on the new contract because they were going to give it away and not charge $400 a season, I decided I was going to go another route. There’s no way I’m paying after hearing that.

I just signed up for the free trial. Recommend signing into your You Tube account and search NFL Sunday Ticket. That will list four options to choose from. If I don't cancel in 7 days, I get charged a lump sum $399 for the entire season.

Same. Every game is available for free……having said that I’m buying it to just not have to hassle….and I’m not the bar type….rather be at home.

You have to sign up for the yearly sub to get the free trial. Go to the YouTube tv web page. You have to cancel before the 17th to avoid being charged $400.

(btw when I was in DC from '05 to '10 I used to watch at that sports-bar/pool-hall at DuPont Circle - they had the Ticket, I could walk there. It was definitely fun and the same Saints fans came every week, had a lot of fun - but even then there's no way I could just spend $20 during a game. What was the name of that place? It might be The Admiral now?)

Yeah I actually haven't done it in a while. But like an entree with a soda shouldn't be much more than $20, prior to tax and tip

So what did y’all think of Sunday Ticket this year. The biggest complaint for me is that the game was delayed by up to 15 seconds. I’m guessing that’s how many seconds of video that YTV cached to prevent streaming interruptions. Even so, there were streaming issues there and there. Still, it was better than dealing with DirecTV or streaming bittorrents.

Anyways, back to OTA for any TV watching. YTV isn’t worth $73 a month.

I liked it a lot. I seem to recall others had some issues the first couple of weeks but I never did - and they were resolved quickly. It worked really well for me and crushed the DTV Sunday Ticket streaming (I know the dish plans were better than the streaming but it has been years since I had the DTV dish).

The multi-view option, alone, was a substantial improvement. Plus the YTTV platform is sooooo much better for mobile. Trying to do ST mobile in the past was a crap shoot. With YTTV, it's reliable as hell.

No issues with it. My dad and I split the service and I’m added as a member on his YTTV account. No interrupts in streaming.
I really liked the ability to record the games and view anywhere.
