I'm just glad it wasn't the Bucs...

Cutler is going to be the best QB the Bears have EVER had. What's next for the Bears... Torry Holt?
 
robbed is the herschel walker trade. this is a good deal for chicago, and a probable good deal for denver, provided they can draft. the bears were a a dreadfully boring three yards and a cloud of dust team that had to do something to take the pressure off the devin hester\ brian urlacher show. This move just put the fanbase in a frenzy, and rightfully so, points in the passing game have been missing in bearsland for quite some time,they more than likely have returned, but, we shall see.
 
Good gracious......suddenly the Bears are serious contenders in the NFC. It's nice seeing the price they paid though.
 
I'm telling you who in the heck is Cutler going to throw to? Leading receiver Devin Hester. Also look at that offensive line. The Broncos robbed the Bears. Remember I said this!!!

The Bears still have their 2nd rounder, and guess what it would cost for them to land Lance Moore?

The Broncos have Kyle Orton and Chris Simms at QB..lol

The 1st round picks have no name to them..we don't know who they will get. Good trade for the Bears as of now.
 
DWD, that would be a great move....Lance to the Bears for their 2nd.

They gave up a crummy qb(Orton), yes he is a bad qb, he was only starting caliber on da bears, dude was not a good qb. And they gave up one semi late first rounder this year and another probably later first round next year considering they will most likely be right in the race for their division with this acquisition. I wouldn't even consider them a contender before this pick up, now i'm watching them a little closer.

Bears won big time in this trade.

I do like Cutler, but I think he's gotten way too much credit, way too early. Its mainly because of his arm strength, first! Second, argument with Phillip Rivers...third, Ijust love this one, I have a stronger arm than Elway, by a mile! Seriously, what has he done too garner so much attention, as far as his skillset. A lot of people where very high on Aaron Brooks, I wasn't! Ever! I noticed huge flaws early. Brooks mechanics stunk, and had a huge arm. That was it! Thats exactly why he isn't in the League now. Horrible mechanics. Guys like Brees, and Peyton Manning, deserve all the praise they receive. Brees deserves a lil more around the league, because he is constantly proving himself. Not because I'm a :homer:.
I would love to see how Tom Brady would play, if he would go to a team like the Bears, or Chiefs! Brees, IMO, would thrive hands down. So would Peyton. I like Cutler as a QB, but a previous poster was like...I'm scared, Bears are contenders again.

Yeah right! The Bears have more holes than Feta, and Swiss cheese put together.

That would horrible for Denver.

You don't give up an elite QB for what basically amounts to a late 1st rounder. A 4th round pick and Orton hold little value.

Cutler is no elite QB yet...and I don't believe he ever will be, not with the Bears O.
