There's always a chance that the gaming public just fears change and that these new additions to COD will be balanced.

I just find it funny that all these dudes who loved perks the first go round are now starting to see they are ridiculous now that they are amplified. I've been saying this for months.

I will honestly give the game a chance. The campaign will no doubt be awesome - it always is, and this one looks to be reason enough to buy the game. I will try to learn the multiplayer and enjoy it. I will give it every benefit of the doubt that I can.

Who knows anything about this "hardcore" mode? Are there no perks in Hardcore?

Oh, and for the record.....this is where I got the Halo vibe from you. I've heard you say the words "matchmaking" and "balanced" so often, I just assumed that "unbalanced" was an indirect way of patting Bungie on the back again for it's matchmaking system.

Yes there are perks in Harcore. The difference is that nobody shows up on radar until someone gets 3 kills. Even if your weapon is not silenced you will not show up until someone gets 3 kills in a row. Skill is involved and there is more camping in these games. That is why when the radar does show up there arent many enemies showing up.

Use UAV jammer and silenced weapons and you become a ghost. Also you must know the maps inside and out in Hardcore.

I pwn and get pwned but love the game. I usually do pretty good. Its seldom my name is ranked lower than middle of the pack in a game.
