That's true. But I would say it is beneficial for guys behind Thomas to step up and get open.

I thought TQS would start to show up at this point in the season. Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to have a grasp of the offense. On multiple plays yesterday, Brees and other players had to “move” him because he was lined up in the wrong place. On one play, I think Brees had to move him 3 times. There were a couple of other plays where he seemed lost, when he should have been blocking for the ball carrier.

Yeah, he did this after his injury last year too. He starts off good and then gets hurt and comes back like he doesn't know how to play. Strange. It must be a mental thing for him. That's why I was shocked when he held onto the ball in that last game. He has all the body make-up but he's just not getting it.

I would like to see what KK brings to the table. I like him but he needs to stay healthy and on the field to succeed and help us.

We're 10 games into the season and all I keep hearing is that Mike Thomas is our only receiver and if teams find a way to shut him down we are in trouble. Well we are 10 games into the season so don't you think teams would have figured out how to shut him down if it was possible? Or maybe our other receivers are doing their jobs perfectly that doesn't necessarily mean getting catches to where it allows Thomas and Kamara to get theirs. Maybe teams can't commit all their resources to stopping Thomas because guys like Ginn and TQS have shown in the past they can make big plays. Football is called the ultimate team sport for a reason, its 11 guys playing together in sync to make the offensive system work. And I trust Sean Payton's system.

Now your going to have to pay him like a # 2 receiver and #1 running back. Financially the saints can't afford that and no Loomis can't make that happen. I would prefer a 2nd receiver with his attributes.

I think part of it is that we arent really used to seeing this in a Sean Payton offense. We are used to seeing Drew spread the ball around. For years, we said things like "Colston did this and that's with Drew spreading the ball around. Imagine if we targeted him like a #1 receiver." This is a big deviation from what we did back then. But it's not uncommon.

I was thinking the same but it really comes down to what the market will offer. I think the league has learned a lesson from Gurley and Bell. These guys are also "supposed" to be 20-25 carry RB's. Kamara is not. Also McCaffrey and Dalvin Cook can make cases that they are more vital to a team.
I have a freakin man crush on Kamara. However I no longer think he will be a $15 mil a year player.
