I use to eat the stuff right out of the plastic tube. Lots of it. No telling all the infectious stuff I built resistance to as a kid because of this.

I used the old "finger to the bowl" trick to remove any leftover dough after mom made cookies.

All of this may explain why you and I turned out the way we did.

I'm gonna research raw cookie dough and it's possible link to brain damage.

I bet you licked the mixer prongs too didn’t you you heathen. You had to be a real tongue artist to get the inside of those blades. So I heard anyway.

I'm pretty positive they didn't have dates in them and the corn flakes look crunched up when ours weren't and our cherry was a whole cherry so I don't think it's that one. Edit: Reading the recipe makes me more convinced this isn't it because ours definitely didn't have cherries in the middle of the cookie. Maybe our version was based off of this one but it seems too different to be the same.
