I see a few people mentioning Sanders as a slot guy, but he is primarily an outside receiver. Over 85% of his career snaps have come on the perimeter, including over 70% just last season.

That may be true but if the Saints don't do something about the pass rush pushing the offensive line back into Brees's lap all the WR's on the planet won't make a bit of difference!

And no you can't just find linebackers anywhere.

I could see oline as an option for sure but drafting lbs has always been hard for us and I feel like we can get a good one in the 3rd

We’re thin at the position, and while we need to draft one, he will provide instant NFL experience and help mentor the younger guys. Would help mitigate the loss of Klein in the short-term. If there’s a better option floating around, I must not have heard.

He makes plays where we lack playmakers and it allows bpa in draft

Happy to have emmanuel sanders but i still feel we need to draft someone though probably not in 1st round now. The light for tre'quan smith still hasn't seemed to come on and i wouldn't be shocked if tedd ginn doesn't make the team.

Ginn is a free agent right now.

Depends on what you want from the linebacker. For more of a pass rusher type like Jamie Collins was there are Markus Golden and Jordan Jenkins. For more of a true linebacker Alec Ogletree is a good option that only got cut because he was playing on a bloated contract the Giants inherited from the Rams and Kamalei Correa is another young option. Personally I'd like to see what Hasson Reddick can do with proper coaching.

Who knows, given the age of our two outside free agent acquisitions and our targets we lost out on like Chris Harris and Jamie Collins it looks we are trying to rebuild the AARP so Clay Mathews would make sense.
