The way I see it is lets just focus on Atlanta. Beating them gets us closer to the ultimate goal and keeps the Saints a leg up on Tampa.

If Brees comes back after 2 weeks, it likely means the Saints have lost 2 in a row to the Failclowns and Broncos... otherwise there’s no need to rush him back.

It's great that Payton doesn't have to officially announce his starter until right before the game Sunday.
There's nothing better than making the Falcons plan for two different styles of offense. However, I still get the feeling that Payton will use both Winston & Hill during the game and adjust the snap count in favor of the guy who is getting the job done better with his unique skill set. I doubt either guy will play the QB role exclusively.

Literally ALL of the talking heads and media outlets are treating it like it’s going to be wINsTon w/out a doubt... They have all completely dismissed the possibility of Taysom Hill taking over as the QB while Brees is out...

This presents a great opportunity for a coach like Sean Payton... Yes, I’m hoping Taysom Hill takes the reigns as the full time QB, but if not... Payton could at least script the first 15 plays or so for Taysom Hill at QB. If Hill takes the field when the Saints offense opens Sunday as the QB, the Failclowns will not be prepared... they will (at the very least) struggle to acclimate... then, if CSP feels it’s best to go with #2, so be it.

I trust the doctors and their assessment. We don't really know if he's being rushed back or not because we don't know the actual extent of his injuries other than a "scary" sounding description of his injury.

That's extremely pessimistic given we have 2 really good backup QB's given our schedule in the next few games.
