Kenny Stills and Malcolm Roach Waived (2 Viewers)

Roach surprised me a little just due to the lack of depth, but we do need someone to pair next to Onyemata that can clog and penetrate in the future. It would take us to a higher level on D and be more in the mold of TB where it's extremely difficult to run inside. Tuttle will continue to start next to Onyemata for now as this is the best lineup we can muster at the current time. If that is done next year, and we can somehow someway get these heavily invested DE's on the field (my frustration here is boiling over like most Saints fans considering it is not one but two first rounders who are MIA), we will look like a much more dominant defense

So they dropped Stills for dropping passes, but resigned White?

"If we keep digging, we'll get out of this hole eventually!!!".
Well, White is a young one. Stills is a vet who's seen his better days.

I haven't given up on White. Hopefully he comes around. The potential is there.

Stills and White are both 29. White has had injury problems so his career never got on track, though.

I really expected Stills to offer a steady veteran presence and to be a respectable WR. It’s been really surprising how badly he’s played. I’m actually glad they’re giving White another shot. He’s easy to cheer for and it seemed like he was getting closer to putting it together
My guess is Stills time in the league is done. If you cannot make an impact on a Saints roster that has no receivers outside of a KR who moonlights as a WR, then the writing is on the wall. I thought having come from a football family, his dad played from 85-90 for GB then finished his career in Min, that he would have a better mindset and more serious approach to the game. Not everyone is Cam Jordan in their discipline and work ethic, Saints knew what they were doing back when they parted ways the first time. Man even Drew had negative things to say about his attitude towards the team and his personal preparation. Some Leopards don't change their spots. I would rather cheer for a guy like White to put it together because he is trying with everything he can muster to succeed, he is struggling mightily to do so but he is giving it his all

Sometimes you have to see first hand why a guy was not on an NFL Roster. I'm surprised they brought Kevin White back on the Team.

I didn't comment on it at the time, but I really didn't care for Kenny's demeanor a few times during last Thursday's game.

It seemed like he was walking to the sidelines with the demeanor of a kid who just got told he had to rake the lawn, particularly after the deflected INT.

I must have been thinking of someone else. Didn't realize he was that old. If he's not ready now, might be time to move on from him as well.

Yeah I don’t have huge hopes for White but I do think he was slowly rebuilding his confidence. I figure at this point the rest of the season is just prep for next year. With that in mind it’s worth seeing if White can come into his own.
