Kellen Moore For Saints Head coach (edit: Byron Leftwich hired for Jags HC) (1 Viewer)

Leftwich is already in for a second interview with Jacksonville.

Kellen Moore is overrated bro... I live in DFW and the local media calls him a "play collector". He doesn't even design his own offenses if you listen to the local guys here on 105.3.

As for Leftwich... the Bucs offense was gonna have brady throwing his career high in interceptions until they went on their bye last year, and brady incorporated a lot of what he did in New England into Tampa's offense. It wasn't Byron... it was Brady.

Eric "sleeping with" Beinemy should be the guy if we're gonna bring in an offensive coach. Doesn't matter who calls the plays the offensive skill guys (outside of AK) will need to be completely overhauled.
Did Moore call that QB run that cost Dallas that game?

I'd give Allen a shot. Teams want to interview him and I'd hate to lose him too. Also Carmichael. They're our core.

Unlike some, I suspect SP might just need a hiatus. He's notorious for changing his mind. He's under contract for another 3 years. He has fleur de lis tattoos. The place and program are familiar.

So I say....

1) Give Allen a shot. If he succeeds, he's the guy.
2) Give Payton time off (and the potential of returning). He's under contract. He's highly paid. It could be favorable situation for fresh start with a program he's built. If it's still intact...

I don't want a new person to come in a gut this program. Or the 2023 salary cap.

Only minority front office hires will get you a comp pick... not a head coach. Unless that rule changed.

(i) The employer-club of a minority employee who has been hired by another club as its Head Coach or Primary Football Executive (General Manager) shall receive Draft choice compensation in the form of a compensatory Draft pick in the third round in each of the next two Drafts for an employee hired as either a Head Coach or Primary Football Executive, or for the next three Drafts if it has two employees hired for both positions.

I loved both these guys as players and Sean McVeigh proved that you can still do big things in the NFL as a 30 year old coach.

Moore is probably one of the smartest, most high character quarterbacks I've ever scouted and he gives off that highly intelligent football IQ that Payton exudes.

Byron Leftwich has always been a high character player and has the Bucs playing good offensive football and also has a history with Winston.

These two guys have my vote for HC.
We do have a thread discussing possible coaches.

BTW, McVay is way overrated, guy can't make adjustments during a game.

Kellen. Drive a stake into the heart of the Cowgirls.

my friend from Dallas said the same thing about Moore. I don’t know too much about the cowgirls so I’ll give you two the benefit of the doubt
